You know, it’s been 4 days but I still haven’t gotten over the fact that Alex Lambert got booted off American Idol. Sigh. I really hope he’ll get picked up by an indie label, because really, he’s way too talented. And super, super sweet! Go Alex Lambert! I’ll be supporting you from all the way here, even of it takes you years to get to where you want to be. I’ve never liked a contestant this much; you’re just really special.

Anyway, I went for the UK education fair yesterday with Joan. Turns out, Brunel’s a pro-Muslim university. They make an effort to cater to the needs of their Muslim students and I’m very very happy about this. It quelled some of my parents fears about sending their daughter to a faraway land, and some of mine too. I’m super, super excited.

And lastly, 2 of my animated shorts will be shown at the Stuttgart Animation Festival as part of ADM’s showcase. Really exciting stuff. You can see clips of them on my portfolio site, only it’s still under construction. Haha. But I promise you, it’ll be done soon. Really!
